    Where: Manchester Central

    Forget the post-Christmas lull this January and raise a glass with your pals at the Manchester Beer and Cider Festival. You can take your pick from over 500 beers, ciders and perries, as well as chow down on hot roast beef barms and homemade pies *drools*.

    Dry January alternative - See London light up

    When: Thursday 18th – Sunday 21st January
    Where: King’s Cross, Fitzrovia, the West End, Mayfair, Westminster & Victoria, and South Bank & Waterloo.

    If you’re taking part in Dry January, then first of all, kudos to you *insert clapping hands emoji*. Secondly, why not swap a boozy night for a visit to the free Lumiere London?
