  • Ditch the gym to get out and about

Let’s be honest, as much as we need the exercise, none of us really want to hit the gym this January, right? So, we’d recommend getting your fitness fix by walking around beautiful Brighton, home to all manner of free outdoor attractions. Start off with a mooch around The Lanes, then check out the Royal Pavilion Gardens, the quirky North Laine, and after have a winter walk along Brighton Beach and Pier.

  • Explore a historic castle

    Where: Cardiff Castle

If you fancy a change of scenery, then hop on the coach and explore Cardiff Castle. Be sure to set aside an hour to visit it’s rooftop gardens, a hidden gem home to an array of pretty plants and eye-catching water fountains.

It’s official – Blue Monday’s got nothing on all the amazing attractions up and down the UK! So, wherever you’re off to, be sure to let us know with a tweet to @nationalexpress or tag us in your Insta posts. Deal?
